Did the Job
We stopped for cappuccinos and a sweet treat. His English was more limited than my Italian, but we muddled through everything just fine. The drinks and treats were good, and the service was very good.
If you need to use a restroom, it's quite a procedure:
1) Ask permission.
2) You will be pointed out the back door.
3) As strange as it may seem, go out the back door.
4) There will be a group of three men out there (I assume they take turns standing there throughout the day). Ask them for the bathroom ("Dov'è il bagno, per favore?").
5) One (or more) of them will point you toward a door across a courtyard that passed it's prime 150 years ago.
6) Behind that door, you will find a restroom that is better (barely) than an outhouse, but it does its job. -

Smallest scoops of gelato in all of Italy. And way overpriced. The quality was meh at best. No menu or prices displayed. You get surprised when you are all done and you find out that everything is at least 2X what you have been paying elsewhere. Espresso was ok (ignoring the fact that I've found equal or better for less than 1€ elsewhere). In general, I'd avoid. Meh gelato at a premium price. Not a great combo.

Stopped in for a quick gelato. It was 2€ for a small and they would kindly give you two flavors if you wanted (in this case they would give you about 1/2 the amount of each flavor that you would ordinarily get if just ordering 1 flavor - so still the same quantity either way). The gelato was firm and not soft which we appreciated for this steamy July day. Most places would charge 2.50-3.00€ for a small. This was great value and on top of that, the taste was great. I can't speak to the rest of the restaurant as we were only wanting gelato! It's worth a stop for gelato for sure!!!

We just had lunch here. Not sure why the bad reviews are so dire. The pizza was good and the service was also good. Not the best pizza I've had in Rome but very edible. All prices were clearly marked and I didn't detect any dishonesty. The salad was fresh and very tasty. We did not try the gelato since we were in a hurry. I would come back here if I was in the area.

Tourist trap extraordinaire! Horrible service and overpriced. The pasta pomodoro was lukewarm spaghetti with olive oil and tomato paste. That's it! Burger was bland, at best. Ordered a doppio espresso and a cappuccino. Man behind the bar failed to mention how much they were, and there is NO price list for anything. Turns out that's because he charged me 4 Euros for 1 espresso!! Place is an absolute rip-off and is not worth your time.
